Support for Gemini Copilot

Need help setting up or using Gemini Copilot for PowerPoint? Follow the instructions below.

1. Obtaining a Google AI Studio API Key

Visit Google AI Studio.
Sign in with your Google account.
Click Create API Key and copy the generated key.
In the PowerPoint Add-in, click the ⚙️ Settings icon, paste the key, and click Test Connection.

2. Common Troubleshooting

Quota or Rate Limit Error (429): Verify that your Google Cloud account has billing enabled if your free tier quota has been reached.
Invalid API Key: Ensure there are no leading or trailing spaces in the key string.
Slide Not Detected: Click the Scan button in the add-in to refresh the PowerPoint slide reading context.
