1. Overview

Gemini Copilot for PowerPoint ("the Add-in") is designed with a strict zero-data-retention, client-side-only privacy architecture. We do not operate external proxy servers, databases, or logging mechanisms for your presentation content or API keys.

2. API Key Storage & Handling

• Your Google AI Studio API Key is stored exclusively on your device inside your browser or Office WebView2 localStorage.
• Your API key is never transmitted to us or any third-party server other than directly to Google's official Generative Language API endpoint (https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com).

3. Presentation Content & Data Transmission

• When you generate slides, rewrite text, or ask questions in Copilot Chat, only the prompt text and selected slide text are transmitted directly from your client to Google Gemini.
• No presentation slides, files, notes, or prompts are stored, monitored, or logged by the developers of this add-in.
